**Cabins are based on double occupancy, so even if you are a single person in the cabin, you will have to pay nearly double the price.  This is standard in the cruise industry.  Thanks**

**VERY IMPORTANT - You will only be charged $25 per person/$50 cabin total for your deposit unless you put in the comment field you wish to deposit more.  For some reason, it may show your total cruise cost but you will only be charged $25 per person or $50 if you are reserving a single cabin.**

Carnival Fascination

Registration has begun for the June 18, 2009 sailing on the Carnival Fascination!  A minimum $25 per person is required by May 5, 2008.  Space is limited, so book now!  When inputting your name information, please put your first and last legal names.  (i.e.  I go by Kim, but my legal name is Kimberly.)

If you wish to prepay gratuities, everyone in the same cabin must do so.  Gratuities are $40 per person.  (Gratuties go to your cabin stewards and wait staff.  You will not be disappointed in the great service you receive!) 

Travel insurance is highly recommended and will be priced based on the type of cabin you choose and your age.  Kim will mail a price quote with your original confirmation.  Please mail or fax the form back to her to indicate you accept or reject coverage.  She must have this information.  If you wish to purchase travel insurance, you must do so before final payment.  Kim's email address is kponder@cruiseplanners.com.

Payment Dates (Required):

$25 per person due at the time of booking

Additional $125 per person due no later than February 4, 2009 (you can prepay this at any time before the date)

Final balance due no later than April 6, 2009

Extensions for payment dates cannot be made, so plan accordingly.  If your cabin decides to prepay gratuities, it must be done before or at the time of final payment.

Cancellation Policies

Carnival Cruise Lines will charge a cancellation fee if you cancel your cruise for any reason.

            29 to 8 days                                           50% of the total fare

            7 days or less                                      100% of total fare

**Travel insurance can protect you in case of cancellation.

Travel Insurance

AccessAmerica insurance covers you up to the cost of your cruise if you had to cancel prior to traveling, if you have to cancel for a valid mecical reason.  Here are the key components of coverage:

Pre-existing medical conditions (must be able to travel at time of booking and purchase insurance before final cruise payment)

Medical and dental coverage while traveling - up to $50,000 per person

Emergency medical transportation - up to $1,000,000 per person

Past Carnival Guests

If you are a past guest on Carnival Cruise Lines, please e-mail me your past guest numbers, so I can assign them to your booking.

If you have any special needs, dietary or medical, please e-mail Kim. 

Miscellaneous

It can take several weeks to get your passports, so don't delay.  First and last names on your reservation must match your passport -- no nicknames or middle names, please.  Gratuities can be prepaid and will be $40 per passenger/$80 per couple.  Travel insurance quotes are being mailed to each passenger/couple.  Rates are based on age and cost of trip.   Travel insurance must be purchased by the time of final payment.  All authorization forms must be completed, signed and mailed or faxed to Cruise Planners before you can receive your documents.  Documents do not arrive until about 3-4 weeks prior to sailing.
